A 2 hour workshop on line for parents/carers with teenagers 12+
What the course is about
This workshop is for families new to family learning designed to support parents facing issues and challenges presented by their teens. It will look at
Understanding and acknowledging the needs behind behaviour
Negotiating and setting limits
Finding different ways to communicate effectively
Choices and consequences.
Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications
No previous experience required but you will be asked to read and consent to our online learning guidance
Materials you need to bring
Paper and pen for notes, a device that can access the Internet
Assessments, tests, exams
Individuals set their own goals and rate themselves pre and post workshop.
An evaluation is sent to each learner after the workshop.
At the end of the course
There will be a short questionnaire to complete to evaluate the course. You will have the opportunity to share with us your thoughts on what you enjoyed and any improvement we could make.
